FRANKFORT, KY.– The Kentucky Chamber Political Action Committee (PAC) has endorsed Jonathan Shell (R-Lancaster) in the May election. His selection for endorsement is based on his understanding of business issues and answers to the Kentucky Chamber PAC’s 2016 Legislative Candidate Survey.
Shell’s answers to the survey demonstrated his support for job growth and economic development, which will lead to a higher quality of life for the citizens of the 71st House District and the Commonwealth.
In response to the endorsement, Shell said he will continue to work for business in Kentucky.
“I want to make Kentucky not just a business friendly state, but the state to do business in. A strong workforce, low taxes, and a quality education system are essential in making that happen. Businesses large and small fuel our state’s economy and I’m honored to receive the endorsement of the Kentucky Chamber,” Shell said in a statement.
The Kentucky Chamber PAC is the independent political arm of the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, the largest broad-based business organization in Kentucky.
