Next week, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kids Matter Coalition will host a rally – Workforce of Today, Workforce of Tomorrow: The Business Case for High-Quality Childcare In Kentucky. This event will be held in Frankfort at the Capitol Rotunda on Wednesday, December 13th from 8:30am – 9:30am (EST) as a continued effort to bring awareness to childcare as a workforce issue.
Representative Bam Carney (House Education Committee Chair), Representative Addia Wuchner (House Health and Family Services Committee Chair), and Travis Burton (Kentucky Chamber) are set to speak at the event.
The event aims to bring together policy, education, and business leaders to advocate for high-quality childcare as a powerful multi-generation approach to building Kentucky’s economy.
Early care and education providers, community agencies, businesses, elected officials, advocates, and anyone passionate about enhancing access to high-quality childcare in Kentucky are encouraged to attend.
