As the opioid crisis continues to be a top issue across the Commonwealth and the nation, the Kentucky Chamber will host a conference to address its impact on the workforce and how the business community should respond.
The opening keynote will focus on the opioid epidemic in the workplace, and how employers can respond with Michael Botticelli, Director of National Drug Control Policy (Drug Czar) for the Obama Administration and Executive Director of the Grayken Center for Addiction at Boston Medical Center.
This session will examine the impact the opioid epidemic has had on employers and our economy. Based on the Grayken Center’s Employer Resource Library, Botticelli will give practical and actionable examples of how employers can play a leading role in changing the trajectory of the epidemic.
Other expert speakers and panels will discuss the history and future of the epidemic, potential solutions, and more. Learn more about the event agenda and speakers here.
