Kentucky Chamber Releases Legislative Agenda Ahead of 2026 Session

The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce has released its 2026 Legislative Agenda, detailing priorities during the upcoming session of the Kentucky General Assembly.

This year’s agenda focuses on advancing policies that strengthen Kentucky’s economy and expand opportunity across the Commonwealth.

“Kentucky’s recent progress proves what’s possible when strong leadership, sound policy, and a united business community come together. Working with the Kentucky Chamber, the Kentucky General Assembly has advanced pro-growth policies that have strengthened our economy, improved competitiveness, and supported Kentuckians and businesses. We look forward to working with our members and the General Assembly to advance meaningful solutions that ensure Opportunity Starts Here—because Kentucky’s future depends on it.”

The Chamber’s priorities during the 2026 Legislative Agenda include:

  • Continuing pro-growth tax reform
  • Addressing workforce challenges through child care solutions
  • Sustaining economic progress with strong housing policy
  • Ensuring strong economic development
  • Investing in infrastructure
  • Prioritizing education funding
  • Improving state competitiveness with legal liability and regulatory reform
  • Advancing sustainable health care solutions

The Chamber’s legislative agenda is developed by several public policy councils comprised of business leaders across the state, with final approval given by the organization’s Board of Directors.
