Kentucky Chamber’s Results for Business Publication Highlights 2026 Legislative Session

The Kentucky Chamber has released its 2026 Results for Business publication, highlighting major policy outcomes from the 2026 Kentucky General Assembly and the impact of this year’s legislative session on Kentucky employers and the Commonwealth’s long-term competitiveness.

The annual publication outlines legislation passed during session, key advocacy efforts, legislative voting records, and lawmakers recognized for leadership on issues impacting Kentucky’s business climate.

The Chamber’s advocacy efforts this session, alongside the work of the General Assembly, resulted in an estimated $1.564 billion in savings for Kentucky employers, equating to savings of $911 per private-sector employee in the Commonwealth.

This year’s publication highlights how legislative leaders and the business community aligned around key priorities, including child care, housing, workforce development, education leadership, and policies aimed at supporting Kentucky’s future growth.

“The 2026 legislative session demonstrated what is possible when Kentucky’s business community and the General Assembly are aligned around a shared vision for growth and opportunity,” said Kentucky Chamber President and CEO Ashli Watts. “The progress made this session reflects a strong commitment to addressing challenges facing Kentucky’s workforce, employers, and long-term growth.”

A record 80 lawmakers received a 100% score on the Chamber’s legislative scorecard for their support of Chamber-backed legislation during the 2026 session. The publication also recognizes the Chamber’s 2026 MVPs of the General Assembly for their leadership on key business priorities throughout session.

Results for Business details what passed, what was defeated, and what the outcomes mean for Kentucky employers and communities across the Commonwealth.
