On July 12, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe, will deliver the keynote address during the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce’s Business Summit and Annual Meeting (formerly the Economic Summit and Annual Meeting), presented by Greenebaum Doll & McDonald.
Hosts of one of the most popular cable shows on television, Scarborough and Brzezinski will offer their insights on the people and issues shaping our times, including a look at President Barack Obama, the divided Congress and what’s ahead for the 2012 elections.
In addition to his career in television Scarborough is also the author of The Last Best Hope: Restoring Conservatism and America’s Promise, a book that draws on the forgotten genius of conservatism to offer a road map for the movement and the country. Prior to his career in television, Joe was the publisher and editor of “The Florida Sun.” He also served as a member of Congress from 1994-2001.
In 2010, Brzezinski published the memoir All Things At Once, which became a New York Times Bestseller. Prior to joining MSNBC in 2007, Brzezinski was an anchor of the “CBS Evening News Weekend Edition” and a correspondent who frequently contributed to “CBS Sunday Morning” and “60 Minutes.”
