After the highly-anticipated general election in November, Matt Jones and Scott Jennings will break down election results and what they mean for 2019 at the Kentucky Chamber’s Legislative Preview Conference on December 3rd.
Matt Jones, host of Kentucky Sports Radio and Hey Kentucky, Scott Jennings, co-founder of RunSwitch PR and CNN contributor, with moderator Jacqueline Pitts, communications director for the Kentucky Chamber, will follow up on the election predictions they made in July 2018 at the Chamber’s Business Summit, give their analysis of the results, and talk about the future of Kentucky politics.
Other key discussions at the 2019 Legislative Preview Conference will be the legislative leaders’ panel with Senate President Robert Stivers, Senate Majority Leader Damon Thayer, Speaker David Osborne, and Rep. David Meade, as well as a panel on emerging and competitiveness issues with Rep. Adam Koenig, Senator Ralph Alvarado, Rep. Phillip Pratt, and Senator Morgan McGarvey.
Legislators will also discuss upcoming issues including criminal justice reform, infrastructure investment, energy and environment, education and health care.
