National Correspondents to Discuss 2024 Presidential Election at Kentucky Chamber Annual Dinner

Ahead of November’s election, when Americans will decide the next president, the Kentucky Chamber will host CNN Political Commentators Ashley Allison and Scott Jennings at the organization’s 2024 Annual Meeting Dinner, sponsored by Dentons, on September 18 in Louisville.

The discussion will focus on the political and economic landscape leading into the 2024 presidential election on Tuesday, November 5, in which current Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump will be on the ballot.

Ashley Allison, political commentator for CNN, has held senior roles in the Obama-Biden administration, the Biden-Harris 2020 presidential campaign, and the Biden-Harris presidential transition team, where she led voter mobilization, outreach, and coalition-building efforts. Allison previously served as executive vice president for the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. She is the founder and CEO of Turner Conoly Group, a consulting firm focusing on social impact, strategy, and political consulting. Scott Jennings, senior political commentator for CNN, is a founding partner of RunSwitch Public Relations, which provides political, communications, public affairs, media relations, and crisis communications counsel for national and international clients. Jennings previously served in political roles for both of President George W. Bush’s campaigns and administrations. He has also assisted with additional presidential, U.S. Senate, congressional, state, and local races. Also, during the 2024 Annual Meeting Dinner, leaders of the Chamber will celebrate the accomplishments of the business community over the past year and highlight the top opportunities for Kentucky to become the best state in the nation to live, work, and do business. The Chamber will also introduce Scott Davis, Chairman and CEO of Field & Main Bank, as the organization’s 2025 chair.
