Local chambers recognized as part of Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives 2024 Excellence Awards

Local chambers from across the state were recognized at the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Executives (KCCE) 2024 Annual Dinner in September during the organization’s Annual Conference. KCCE Annual Excellence Awards pay tribute to local chambers of commerce in areas of operational excellence that include membership growth and retention, civic engagement, and more.

As part of the Annual Dinner, the KCCE Board of Directors named Michelle Bundren of the Murray-Calloway Chamber of Commerce as the 2025 president, which was previously held by Tomi Clifford of the Cynthiana-Harrison County Chamber of Commerce.

The Excellence Awards ceremony culminates with the presentation of the KCCE Chamber Professional of the Year, which was awarded to Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Sandra Wilson.

Leap of Kindness Day was created by the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce in 2016, and it has grown in the recent years. On February 29, 2024, KCCE encouraged chambers to show how they were celebrating and giving back for Leap of Kindness Day. To celebrate the impact of this day, KCCE created a new award to honor a chamber that participated and made an impact on Leap of Kindness Day. The Cynthiana-Harrison County Chamber of Commerce is the first recipient of this award.
