The Kentucky Chamber is now accepting nominations for its annual Young Professional of the Year Award, which recognizes an outstanding young professional for their leadership, innovation, and service in both their career and community.
Nominations for the 2026 Kentucky Chamber Young Professional of the Year Award are now open and will close on August 7, 2026.
The recipient of the award will be recognized at the Kentucky Chamber’s 3rd Annual Young Professionals Summit on September 21, 2026, in Louisville.
Following the nomination period, finalists will be selected by members of the Kentucky Chamber Board of Directors and Next Generation Leadership Council.
Finalists will participate in a public voting competition hosted on the Kentucky Chamber’s social media channels.
During the voting period, the Kentucky Chamber will feature each finalist on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and X. Votes will be determined by the combined number of likes, comments, and shares received across the Kentucky Chamber’s social media platforms.
The Young Professional of the Year Award celebrates emerging leaders who are making a meaningful impact in their workplaces, industries, and communities while helping shape Kentucky’s future. Previous winners include Brandon Pennington of Harlan Tourist and Convention Commission (2025) and Alexandria Abell of PNC Bank (2024).
