Cabinet for Economic Development requests feedback for strategic planning initiative

The Cabinet for Economic Development has launched a new strategic planning initiative and it needs input from the business community. The effort will result in a statewide economic development plan that will provide direction on how best to enhance job creation and investment opportunities in the Commonwealth over the next several years. The Cabinet feels the business community is a vital part of this planning process and has set up a survey where you can provide feedback on your experiences doing business in Kentucky.  The answers to this 10-minute survey will help shape the outcome of the final strategic plan.

The survey can be accessed by clicking here and must be completed by Friday, July 29. If you have any problems while taking the survey, please contact Liz Rogers at 501-604-6121.

You are also encouraged to attend one of seven public visioning meetings planned around the state beginning next week. The meetings will offer Kentuckians with an interest in Kentucky’s economic success the opportunity to express ideas and suggestions for shaping the state’s economic development strategic plan. Meeting dates and locations, as well as additional background information about this initiative can be found on the Cabinet’s website under “Upcoming Events.”

*Please be assured that your survey responses will be kept confidential and will only be included in an overall summary of what the project consultant, Boyette Strategic Advisors, learns from all respondents.
