Former state auditor discusses Kentucky’s leadership needs at Business Summit

The Kentucky Chamber’s 2012 Business Summit, presented by Bingham Greenebaum Doll, LLP,  wrapped up Tuesday afternoon with a presentation from former state auditor Crit Luallen, who told the group that Kentucky has too few resources and too many critical needs not to have leadership with integrity, competence and vision.

Modernizing government practices is important, she said, but government modernization should also include recruiting and electing leaders with integrity at all levels. Private sector involvement is vital in ensuring elected officials deliver as they should. Pressure from the outside of government is key to making progress, Luallen added.
