Beth Davisson named Vice President of Workforce Development at the Kentucky Chamber
On Friday, Kentucky Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Ashli Watts announced that Beth Davisson has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Workforce Development.
Davisson joined the staff of the Kentucky Chamber in January 2017 as Executive Director of the Kentucky Chamber Workforce Center. Davisson led the launch of the Workforce Center and has been overseeing the program since its inception with a focus on expanding employer-led efforts to improve the quality of state workforce programs and the results they produce.
“I am so pleased to have Beth lead our workforce development efforts and continue addressing Kentucky’s workforce challenges,” Kentucky Chamber President Watts said. “With her strong work ethic and knowledge, Beth is seen as a leader by both the private and public sectors and her role is critical in ensuring we have a globally-competitive workforce.”
Prior to joining the Chamber, Davisson served as Director of Career Services for Health and Medical Programs at Sullivan University since 2013 and was the 2016 president and executive director of the Louisville Society for Human Resource Management. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Strategic Communication from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Business Administration from Sullivan University.
