State Treasurer Allison Ball Announces Candidacy for Auditor

On Wednesday, current State Treasurer Allison Ball announced her candidacy for State Auditor. Ball has served seven years as State Treasurer, first elected in 2015, and again in 2019.

Announcing her run on Facebook, Ball stated, “As your Treasurer, I have led nationally on financial literacy policy and protecting Kentucky investments from ESG.”

She went on to detail her accomplishments in office, adding, “I have returned more unclaimed property, $150M, than any other Kentucky Treasurer in history. I look forward to being your next State Auditor.”

Ball is the first candidate to enter the race for this office.
